Maybe to him you just don't feel like the same woman he married. I would really demand an answer though as to exactly why. It maybe something more and he is just using skinniness as an excuse.

Maybe he really liked you with a little extra cushion. you never know. If you had drastic weight loss, it may be more that he liked. I don't know, but if a woman is too skinny, I am not really attracted to them either.

Also, how old is the child? I know for the first few months, between work, home, 2am feedings(yes I took my turns at that, and she didn't even work), and everything else, sex may be not on the forefront right now.

When my oldest was born, I was the sole working person in the family. I worked a lot of over time, side jobs in the evenings and weekends. I also got up at night to put the baby back to sleep. I really over did it for a long time. That is a lot of pressure knowing that the family is completely dependant on how much you can make. Sex sort of was on the back burner. And, it wasn't that I didn't want her, it was that I was honestly too tired to really be in the mood.

Then, there is the constant fear about being a new parent. I had no clue as to what I was doing, and I knew that. I worried constantly. I would get up in the middle of the night all the time just to make sure the baby was still breathing.
There were literally time(dangerous) I would get to work, and have not one memory of the 17 mile drive I had just completed.

Talk to him. Let him know he is doing a good job(assuming he is), and get him to slow down a little.

Maybe your too skinny. Put some weight back on. Some people go to the extreme when losing weight without even realizing. Ask some of your family members or your friends if you've gotton too thin. Because there is such a thing.

I dont understand that. My husband doesnt want me to be too skinny but he still touches me. Talk to a doctor cuz there might be something else up with him. Ive heard of men feeling different when their woman has a child.

That's near the top of the list of the craziest things I've ever heard. Of course, on t.v. the other day, I heard that the vast majority of Americans is now overweight or obese.

I often wonder if there has been a paradigm shift among many men as to what defines a physically attractive shape because of the obesity epedimic.

Thats sounds like an excuse to me. It takes alot of women a long time to lose their weight after having a child. He should be glad that you have, unless it is unhealthy for you. Are you underweight? Is he afraid you may get pregnant again so soon after giving birth? Only you can answer these questions. Try talking to your husband and find out whats going on..Good Luck

My wife lost a significant amount of weight recently. She looks great, but her skin is kind of loose and untoned. Could this be the real problem? Loosing weight is one thing, toning up so it all looks good is another.

some men's view points change about their woman once they have had a child, they no longer see the woman as a wife, or in a sexual manner but in the motherly role and that my conjure up images of his mother and he may relate being intimate with you with being intimate with a "mother" (and no I don't mean he pictures his mother). Just have a talk with him and tell him how you feel and your concerns, if this doesn't work, he may need to seek counseling.

Some of us men actually like a little extra padding. Curves are not always a bad thing. Just be comfortable with who you are and talk to him about it. You may be trying too hard to be the perfect wife instead of the perfectly adorable woman he misses........... complete with flaws!

If you still function fine and have your energy level, hes the one with the problem. There are too many people who will accept you the way you are to let it get to you. Is he fat? He may just be worried about other guys bieng attracted to you.
