I had a D&C done on December18. I found out I am pregnant today on my post op check up. They did a pap smear and she said I may spot a little bit. I just went to the restroom and when I sat down blood just came out. It isn't much, but it was enough for me to tint my urine completely red. Has this happened to anyone else. I have had 6 miscarriages by the way. I have one son. I appreciate the help.

They do a pap smear on all newly pregnant women. They didn't do that until after they found out I was pregnant.

I just had one today and they said I would spot which made me mad cuz i freak out over everything...i have lost one myself and i know ur probably just as paranoid as i am...but as long as your just spotting and it dont last long your good to go especially if u have no cramps

A pap can irritate the lining in side your vagina which can cause a small amont of bleeding but it should stop pretty soon after the pap has been done. If the bleeding has stopped and it was not enough to use a pad with you should be fine. Good luck.

Everytime I have a papsmear I spot for about a day. It's normal.

Should have requested the blood test rather than a PAP. The blood test is more accurate anyway:
