Does everyone have one?
If you move around a lot, what should be considered your hometown?

Hometown is where you were born and (generally) grew up. Some people do not dwell long in the town they were born and live much longer in another town, so consider *that* to be their hometown. Technically, it's where you were born, but many categorize their hometown as the place they grew up in as a child and where they've spent the better part of their lives.

Agree w the first two answers & would add an example from later in life. For over twenty years I lived ,owned a business, & enjoyed leisure time in Gaithersburg, MD.

I moved to Ft Worth Tx a year ago, but still consider Gburg my hometown.

The town in which you lived when you were brought home by your parents and in which you spent at least some of your youth. many concider the town in which they have their first lasting memories as a child because they can not reember any earlier town their parents ight have taken them to before.
