Yes, a snake CAN kill, and eat another snake. My snake is a California King Snake. She one time got out, and I found her eating a rattle snake. So yes. Some snakes (not all) will kill other snakes.

Yes. That's why a King snake is called a King snake.
True story;-A friend of mine built a 'snake cage' and started with an 11ft. long python. He traded that for 2- 8 ft. boas. Then he started catching snakes on his fence erecting jobs. He caught and put in his cage almost 20 wild snakes. Even caught a translucent legless lizard. But one day he brought a King snake home. I said "You're not going to put that in there are you?" He said yeah and dropped it in the cage. A few days later, he notices a snake was gone and passed it off as escape. After a few "escapes", I reminded him about the King snake. Well he finally fingered it out that you can have a King snake but you can't have it in the same cage with what it eats!

Many snakes are ophiophagus (snake eaters). Kingsnakes of course are the most common, but here are a few more types that pop out in my mind.
Eastern indigos, not only the largest snake in north america, but very fond of eating other snakes, especially diamondback rattlers.
Coral snakes will eat any snake that they can subdue, this is why they are neurotoxic rather than hemotoxic.
Cobras are also very fond of eating other snakes.
And from what I understand, all of what I call "log snakes" (the small ones you find under logs usually like ringnecks, crowns, pinewoods snakes, etc.) regularly feed upon each other.
I hope this helps.

I would say that at least half of the US species have been known to eat snakes.
