Enjoy the silence. Think of it as a mini-vacation. Just remember how much you're going to wish he'd shut up the next time he starts nagging about something.
One of two things, either he's decided to punish you, which is petty and childish. Or he's totally forgotten the whole thing and just never has anything to say. Either way, you need to enjoy it.

Wait it out...as much as it stinks...guys often have a funny way of dealing with and internalizing things. Although you don;t recall saying anything insulting, it sounds like something hit him the wrong way that maybe he is too prideful or angry to let you in on now. Kill him with kindness or perhaps try to make him laugh with something silly, an inside joke you guys share, etc. and he will come around sooner or later. Plus you get to make up which is the best part!

Typical male running off to the cave and brooding. Ignore the behavior and he will come around. The key word is "ignore". I have been married over 8 years and I have been through it with a stubborn man. You don't have to say anything insulting to them and they will be this way sometimes. Bless you for putting up with it for love and marriage's sake.

When a guy resorts to silent treatment, it's because he's out of options in all the other areas. Have you thought about backing down just a bit to see just what's going on?

Ah yes, I remember the "cold days and nights" when I was married. Me and my ex once rode in the truck together for 4 hours, and she NEVER spoke the whole time. All the advice I can give you is, as much as you can, don't let it bother you. Try to talk to him, and eventually , he will respond...... Good Luck!!

Be strong, he knows it is bothering you so he is going to continue. Go about you day as usual and pretend it doen`t bother you even if it does. He`ll come around.
