You might be very well..as in, not ill. But you can't possibly be "well" at something. You might be good at it, or excel at it...but you cannot be "well" at acting. All I can say is good luck. I was involved in theater arts for 6 yrs. It's fantastically fun!!!!

Are you college educated? Do you have a degree? And judging from the fact that you said, "I am very well at it.", I'm going to say no. How old are you? I'd suggest that you go to a school/university to be trained. Major in acting and get a degree. Then you find a job and on the side you go on auditions. With a degree at least you can afford to support yourself while you look for work. I am an acting major at one of the top 10 universities (for acting) in the US and my acting professor said that the world is already full of stupid actors and that we don't need anymore, dont you want to put an end to that stereo type. My suggestion is get some training. If you want it that bad you're going to have to work for it.

First of all you're very GOOD at it! and I agree with Laura, acting is not something you sit around dreaming about. IF you really wanted to act you would be doing it by now. Do some theatre, build your resume, take what theatre has to offer in terms of building your acting skills, audition skills, improv skills etc. Audition for shows, commercials, anything just get your self out there and get a little experience. and most importantly, do it because you love acting don't do it because you can't wait to party with Hilary Duff and count your money. You have to have heart for it and if you're only in it for the money you are going to be sorely dissapointed when you find out most actors are BROKE!!!

Yahoo Groups is a great place to start. Look for theatre and acting groups in your area and join them. Go to Craigslist.com and go to gigs and to radio/tv/movies in your area and search there. Search the internet for ___________Film Casting, in the blank put your cities name. Start by doing free stuff just to get a resume started. You don't have to go to Hollywood or New York. They won't even look at you until ou have paid your dueslocally and made a mark and learned the craft right where you are. There are alot of colleges and Universities that have film departments that are always looking for actors.
Look for a photographer to do TFCD for your first Headshot. It will be free for you and it will help them out. After you get your resume started then submit to reputable agents in your area with your headshot. Don't spend alot of money!!! that will come in time and there really is no need to.

as far as i understand, most actors start by joining drama/theatre clubs or groups, and become involved in productions - then you would join an agency and probably start off as an extra for a film - if you've got talent, and you push yourself forward, you will get noticed, and eventually be given a 'talking' role, and you gradually work your way up from there.

Get involved in as many plays/auditions you can. Look for auditions in newspapers, internet, etc. You always have to start at the bottom and work your way up to build a name for yourself.
Someone will notice you down the road.

You need to move to Hollywood first of all. You need to find an agent by sending head shots. The agent finds you auditions and then the rest is up to you to impress the people who are auditioning you. Good luck to you. I hope your dream comes true.
