Hamlet; the "To be, or not to be," soliloquy is timeless.

if you want something hilarious (and are old enough and auditioning for a semi-professional theatre or higher, not high school) The penis monologue from Free Will and Wanton Lust is good. If you want to talk about anger and fighting, there is a monologue in Danny and the Deep Blue Sea about twenty pages in about Danny beating some random guy up. I could go on and on, but pretty much I would say that whatever monologue you choose needs to be personal to you, and to reflect, sort of, where you are in your life at this point in time. Most public libraries have books of monologues, and there are a few databasses online. I would give you the link if I had the time, I have to go head to rehearsal :). Try googling audition monolouges.

You need to provide more information. Are you female or male? Do you want a dramatic or comedic piece? Classic or contemporary? BTW don't do the piece from Hamlet, totally over-done!
