The limitations of the written word. You never know when a flippant answer is resented to a serious question or a reasoned answer will seem pedantic to another. Sometimes you just guess wrong.

Sweet George....maybe you take the answers too personally. There are a some people who answer rudely, but don't feel so sad, you aren't the only one who gets the rude answers.
I guess there are those who think being rude makes then look intelligent.
