Then tell your dr this. If you have irregular cycles you need to be having intercourse throughout your cycle. You need to have your hormone levels checked, to see if you have PCOS, etc.

If you are over 35, they say try for 6 months before the doctor will look into specialist. If you are under 35, then they say try for 1 year. Talk to your doctor about your lack of periods. There is medication that will help you get it (Provera). If you are not getting your periods regularly then you aren't ovulating. Believe me! It took 3-4 different OB's to correctly diagnose me. The last one read my charts, talked to me for all of 5 min's and said "you have PCOS". We tried for 3 years (we had to take a year off). After being correctly diagnosed and seeking a specialist and TONS of (invasive) test we finally got pregnant. (not to mention 3 IUI's)
Best of luck!

Keep track of your ovulation days there is a higher chance to become pregnant. Go to www.webmd.com they have an oculation calender on there website it's free to sign up for. All you have to do is type in when your periods are and it will show you on the calender when you are the most fertile. Good luck!!

my husband and i also have been trying for a year and half now. still no luck. just like you. although after our one year anniversary, we went to the doctor's and we got my husband to get tested for sperm count. turns out he has low sperm count as well as poor morphology in the sperm. we were then referred to a urologist who sent us to a fertility clinic. now we're waiting for results from a sperm wash test. i know how you feel, it's hard when you see other pregnant women. 15 of our friends are having babies this year...........talk about pressure. my advice is to go find another doctor. charting doesn't necessarily work if you're not charting the right way or if you don't see the correct patterns. just go find another doctor who is genuinely concerned about you. wish you luck.....all the best....hopefully we'll both have babies by this time next year.....

Go to a new doctor, one that is willing to run tests and work with you. Remember your doctor works for you, not the other way around.
In the meantime get a saliva ovulation prediction kit to make sure you are ovulating.

next time you try- when your man ejaculates he should not pull out- instead put a few pillows under your but to keep it elevated and have him just stay inside you for a few minutes- this will help- I did that and I was preggo and just had a baby in December

All I can really tell you is that, maybe you should start right after your period begins, it should work. But I don't really know but I'm 90% sure it will.

It's called natural selection. Consider adoption instead.
