If parallel universes do exist, as is suggested by theories proposed in recent times....and there are an infinite number of such universes, each exactly the same as ours with only very slight differences, then isn't it reasonable to assume that somewhere.... sometime.... somehow.... Santa-Clause actually exists!

Not only that but also there is somewhere that i am married to kate moss instead of that doherty ****, and that the spice girls can really sing. Then there's the universe where america is ruled by a monkey.......oh wait that is our one isn't it

Even if the Universe is not infinite, but the number of parallel universes are, then somewhere I have just decided not to answer this question.

Somewhere else, you didn't ask this but asked "Is there a Universe where Santa Clause DOESN'T exist?"

Somewhere else, someone is writing
"Ho Ho Ho - Have you been good this year? If you don't believe in me I may not come to your house! Remember to be nice and not naughty! You are on my list and I'll be checking it twice! Ho Ho Ho"

Even scientists and probability theorists admit to one thing - "In an Infinite Universe, ALL things are possible!"

As for the Physics side of the existence of Santa, well according to physics it isn't possible to do what he does. HOWEVER, a parallel universe wont necessarily have the same Laws that we do.
The fundamentals like Gravity would, but others may not or there may well be different rules applying there. As we cannot get to an alternate reality we cannot prove it but think for a moment.
If it is an ALTERNATE reality then the physical Laws will follow to be alternate as well to a degree, yes? Therefore applying Science to carry the theory further then YES somewhere Santa and the Sandman are enjoying a night out with a bevy of beauties (just don't tell MRS Clause!)

there is a theory i'm not sure what it's called.

basically to make time travel possible and more accessible to the masses, people will use virtual reality.

if computers keep advancing eventually a computer would be able to run an entire world, take your brain what you see, smell, hear etc are electrical impulses. a computer could run billions of these processes so in essence different times, worlds and universes could be run as a computer model. including the experience of 'life' as the modelled human brains in the computer.

a person in that time could then could interact with the computer program and experience time travel (not actual time travel, similar to the hologram deck on star trek)

if this were true there could be an infinite number of universes ran in a computer and the chances of us actually being real would be very slim!

This means that a universe could be made with different laws of physics to include santa claus!

initially, you're what you're and who you're and the place you're because of the thoughts you have made on your existence. (you will be able to think of it became in part using different individuals's judgements, yet you chosen to settle for, reject, proceed to exist, or die) Secondly, 2 to the thirty second potential equals greater advantageous than one billion. If in a parallel universe the alternative became the two turn left or turn top on a daily basis (do solid or do undesirable on a daily basis or try this or do this) in 32 days it could yield over one billion a danger outcomes. in short: in case you have been in a parallel universe - you does no longer be who you're. Now, approximately ethical household initiatives: ethical household initiatives are cultural particular. i do no longer see how unknown and unseen human beings in yet another universe could element into our culturally oriented ethical household initiatives.

Yes - because the number of potential universes, and therefore realities is infinite, then anything and everything is possible. Actually, not possible, certain.

There would be universes where you and Angelina Jolie are lovers, where you've won the lottery, where you are crowned King of England, where you assassinate Deirdre off Coronation Street. The number of variations is infinite - so everything happens.

So, not only does Santa exist somewhere - in at least one you are him, you are his son, you are his lover, you murder him etc etc.

If parallel universes could exist and the number was infinite our universe would be duplicated exactly billions and billions of time with exactly you and every atom and molecule and every possible event over and over again.

other universes may exist, but the other universes may not have time, or anything that is 3D... they maybe sole, or (proble) something that nobody can even think of! Imagine being blind, and trying to have someone desribe to you about colors. that couldn't be... and "Santa Clause"? Well, proble not the "real" version with everything that you think of him to be. there maybe a universe of thought... but I really have no clue about that, nor will anyone else on Yahoo Answers. unless...

No... there's more rationality behind the idea of parallel universes, whereas Santa Claus is the creation of mythology and popular demand. You might as well say, is it just as conceivable that dancing tea-pots exist in parallel universes?

I suppose if all the laws we recognise as fundamental do not hold true in these parallel universes, it's conceivable that a Santa-figure could exist -but then he wouldn't be Santa, cuz the whole ideology behind Santa is that he's a magic being -hence why he doesn't exist.

maybe there are people in other dimensions named Santa Claus, but as for THE Santa Claus, I would have to say no. every parallel dimension is different in some way, but they all have to follow the same laws of physics. Santa Claus breaks the laws of physics by delivering so many presents in one night to so many different homes. also, i would assume that flying reindeer don't exist in any of the parallel dimensions. maybe there are deer-like mammals that have evolved to fly, but they would have wings of some sort, and look a lot different than our reindeer.

No. We could have many worlds where the United States lost the cold War, but Santa Claus is out.

You mean somebody who can levitate out of a chimney, and visits hundreds of millions of households in a single night. The math indicates that he needs to travel a significant fraction of the speed of light to do it, moving a titanic amount of mass, such that his energy out put rivals the sun. This would be enough to melt all the snow and ruin the Christmas cheer.

If you are postulating world where the laws of physics are different that would permit such actions, I don't know that we could even recognize such a place - gravity would be optional and momentum would be very different. Sorry.

You are in a parallel unicerse. Santa does exist in this one.
