I'm not scared of homosexuals. I'm not scared that homosexuality will be more prevalent in the next few years. I don't hate homosexuals. I don't treat homosexuals any different. I just don't agree with that lifestyle. Does that make me a bad person, or just one with an opinion?

As a lesbian myself, I would say disagreeing is normal as long as noone purposely offends one another. There are different types of homosexuals. Those who outwardly flaunt their sexual orientation to make a statement, which I certainly disagree, and there are those such as myself who pretty much lives my life quietly. Unfortunately, in this world today, we are judged unfairly, many heterosexuals and homosexuals fight bitterly, but there are also many friendships between the two because of respect. I also feel noone has the right to judge anyone due to sexual preference. Unless you know those people personally, assumption is always a bad thing. Basically, it is better not to say anything. Disagreeing, however, is always ok.

In my opinion, disagreeing doesn't make you homophobic. When people harbor hatred and launch verbal/physical attacks on gays, that stems from homophobia.
On another note, I also don't understand what there is to agree with or disagree with. It's none of anybody's business who people are drawn to or love. What somebody does in their own bedroom can't possibly hurt anyone. Yet so many people do feel so threatened by it. Crazy!

Unless you do go out of your way to be rude to them then you aren't a homophobic even if someone said that. You don't have to agree with it to not be homophobic. That describes many people's opinions since it is unorthodox. Homophobes get sick around gay people. They literally cannot take it.

If you don't agree with the lifestyle, then just don't be a homosexual. *shrug* Nobody forced you to be gay, nobody cares whethere you're gay or not, so why should you even be asking that question? Just pull out of the "subject", so what?

"Homo" part is self expanitory, "phobic" typically means fear of .
Though homophobics don't really need to feel its WRONG, per se, they just don't like them or want anything to do with them.
