I am very sorry to hear about your fall and I hope your child is well too. Like one of the other people stated - did you have a witness? If so you should get the law involved. I know you prob. don't but trust me its for your benefit. I slip and fell at a supermarket - just when this kid was washing the floor and he just looked at me and walked away. So I just walked out and I regret it now because I have some pain once in a while. If by chance you do NOT have a witness still contact a lawyer - you do have your husband that saw it at least. The homes might also have a security camera that caught a video of your fall. Also contact the managers of the housing development and complain and state that you need to get medical attention because of it. Also, do go to a free clinic - it will show that you seeked help but at the same time you didnt have any $$ for an expensive doctor.
Also in the mean time take a warm bath and have some asprin.
Whatever you do.. sooner is always much better! Good luck

Wow, the first person who responded seems pretty angry at you? What did you do to her?
Go to a county hospital. Their free. Yeah, you'll probably end up waiting for hours, but if your back hurts, then you really don't have too many options.
