Dude!

Get out your map of the Atlantic Ocean. Draw a triangle with one corner on the northeast part of the USA, the second corner on Cuba and the islands of the West Indies, and the third corner on Africa.

On the side of the triangle between the USA and Africa, write RUM, and on the side of the triangle from Africa to the West Indies, write SLAVES and on the other side, write molasses!

The guys in New England turned the molasses into rum, then traded it for slaves. They sold the slaves in the west indies for sugar and molasses to make more rum. Get it?

D. All of the above

Kind of easy to get, since molasses is a key ingredient in rum. Once you get two, you know already it's all of the above.
