This is for a small overhang above the door of a marina-style house. Large half-circle tiles are too big and way too heavy.
Thanks! issa

Hi Liz,

Your best bet is steel. New designs of steel roofing is absolutly amazing, and virtually indistinguishable from terra cotta, and other roofing materials.
Cost is still a factor keeping it from being used more widely, but it shouldn't deter you for a small overhang.
It isn't available from home stores at this time, but I can be emailed here, and would be glad to help you find a wholesaler in your area.
Steel lasts far longer than any other roofing system in use today, and is as weather, storm, and windproof as any roof can be. The variety of styles and designs make it a great choice for many applications, and at a fraction of the weight of tile, eaiser to deal with.

Try www.premiumroofs.com for ecostar roofing. Made from recycled rubber in many decorator styles. Has a 50 year warranty too.
