Aboot-I haven't heard any Canadians say "aboot" for about. Eh?-- Yeh, some Canadians end some sentences with eh? But I'd hardly call it slang! Hockey nuts-- never heard it, though I will agree some Canadians are nuts about hockey! Snuffy--haven't heard it. Perhaps the sound of a person breathing with a bad cold? Someone with the "snuffles"? I'm not born in Canada, but I've lived in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) of Ontario since 196...3.

It could mean cousin, but is usually spelt "cuz".
Optionally it could be refering to the word because, but it would then be spelt by street tradition,as "coz".
It may very country to country. However this is the usual definition of these words when having any "street cred".
