No. That's a myth.
Hair is thicker in the middle and tapered at the end. When you cut it, you are viewing the thicker part which is coming out of the skin. This provides the appearance of more hair because of its thickness. But it will not grow faster nor thicker than your genetic structure will allow.

That's the theory, but no, I don't think it ACTUALLY grows back thicker and faster. It will seem like it, but when it gets back to it's original length, it'll be almost exactly the same.

dude its totally cool, i had the same problemo. the first few times you shave, it wont really grow back very much, but after a while, it will. Just dont worry about it, everyone goes through it.
I started shaving about a year ago, and i know its hard to do it the first time, but u get used to it, trust me!

It all depends on how much your father usually has..I dont have a moustache yet and I am 21..Bought I have to shave like once a week..for my chin..or I usually trim..
