I could be rude by saying you mispelled being..
but, I am just giving you an example...I guess, people who do not over look other peoples faults...and, then somehow point it out to them..maybe in front of others .

Its not thinking or CARING how you're going to make another person feel when you make a remark, when all you have to do is REWORD your remark to lessen or even REMOVE any potential harm to the person. Instead, by choosing to harm the person with words intentionally, that is; by saying the facts of the situation in an emotionally hurtful way and not in a way that was emotionally neutral, you choose to expose that person to harm, when none had to be! That's RUDE!

If you say something like " Heavens, that's an ugly hat" it may be that you did not think about it.
If you said it and really meant it, that is being rude. If you said it with the intention of hurting, then that is being mean and spiteful.
Gwenneth and I had 42 years of this from her family.
May you always be treated kindly. Rose P.

being rude is calling people mean and hurtful names such as people that hate gays calling them f*ggots or d*ykes, when you can just say gay or lesbian as the latter two aren't derogatory names that cause pain to those at the recieving end.
