Most people don't have such a high turover in regard to their maids. Could it be the condition of your home? Just get a maid through a cleaning service company and when one doesn't want to come to your home, they'll find another one to cover.

Remove any items from the floor, such as pet dishes, accent rugs, trash can, etc.
Then you'll need to sweep or vacuum the floor to remove dirt, dust, and crumbs.
Next, you'll need a sponge mop and some liquid all-purpose cleaner like Mr. Clean, Fabuloso, Pine-Sol, etc. You can fill a pail with water, or you can use the kitchen sink if your're doing the kitchen floor. Just be sure to clean the sink well afterward.
Use the recommended amount of cleaner. Let the sponge mop sit in the solution for a minute or two, then squeeze out the excess water with the lever mechanism on the handle. Go over a small area, making sure you get into corners and up under the counter edges. Use a "cross-hatch" movement - mop up and down in straight lines, then across the same area. Return the mop to the cleaning solution, squeeze, and go over another area. If your floor is really dirty and sticky, you will need to repeat the process more often.
Usually, cleaning products do not require rinsing. Let the floor dry completely before walking on it. Rinse your mop and bucket and put them away.

Look in the service closet for a sturdy bucket with swivel handle and a long handled mop. Take it to the kitchen sink and fill with soapy water. Easy on the soap! Insert mop into bucket then ring it out above the bucket so excess liquid falls into bucket then take wet mop to mess in such a way as to collect the mess on the mop strands and then deposit the mop into a bath of water that is in the bucket. Swirl around to dislodge the mess from the mop then ring it back out above the bucket to begin again with a freshly semi-dry mop with which you can reattack the mess again. Repeat till satisefied. Pour the bucket of liquid down the toilet then flush again. Mop must be rinsed clear then ringed before storing. Best done in the bathtub.

Why don't you just hire a temporary cleaning service until you find a replacement?
