I don't want to sound rude but 'hispanic' is a general term. it can mean anyone descended from or living in South America, Latin America, Mexico, Spain, etc. So not all hispanics are the same.

I knew that there was a controversy about Selena being of Mexican descent (since she was born in the US she was American) and Jennifer Lopez being of Puerto Rican descent (she was also born in the US and is American), but I didn't see the big deal about it. Maybe it's because I'm not of Mexican descent, so I don't think that it's a big deal. (I am hispanic, but not of Mexican descent.)

Some people are very possessive of their nationalities. It doesn't matter whether you are hispanic, arab, white, or black: people often like to specify where they're from/descended from because it's a large part of people's identity. Not only are they female, the oldest child, born in the US, living in NM, 5'5'' tall, but they are also of Spanish descent.

A e book it is "good" sufficient to be made right into a movie is prevalent and properly-generic. i do not imagine they can make a movie on a e book which couldn't ny cases Bestseller. they could be classics like Jane Eyre or only fads like Twilight. both way, they very not often make good diversifications of the novels. once you write a distinct, it is written in blood, sweat and tears. With writing you create, with filming you're only replacing the tale to a diverse media. i'm particular it is exertions, even though it is only no longer the same as writing a distinct. having reported that it is all quite subjective. I propose, Pan's Labyrinth became remarkable and that has blood, sweat and tears written throughout it.

Actually I heard that Selenas family praised Jennifer Lopez and thought she did a great job playing the part.

It does matter, because they are two different races. There is a big difference. It's like Memoirs of A Geisha. People didn't like that a Chinese person was playing a Japanese character.
