Double spaced typed will look like this when you are done. If you
are using Microsoft Office Word you can go up to where it says
Format and under that you will see Paragraph. Click that and it
will open up a new window. It will say spacing/line spacing.
There you can change the spacing on the document from single
to double or even 1.5.

It means having double the space between each line of the document. Teachers and professors prefer this so it's easier to read and so they can jot notes for you in those spaces. If you're not using a word processor that does double spacing, just go back after you've finished and go to the end of each line and press the 'enter' key so the type has a blank space between each line.

Typed means using a word processor or a type writer.
Double space means hitting the return key twice at the end of the line instead of once on the keyboard (you will see a blank line in between the lines of your paragraph). Word processors like Microsoft Word can bet set for double space so you don't have to constantly hit space twice.

It means that there is a blank line between each typed line. Like if you were to press enter after every line typed. The easiest way to make a paper double spaced in Mircrosoft Word is to go to "Format" at the top and then "Paragraph" and then check "double-space." You can do this either before you begin typing or if you've already typed it, highlight what needs to be double-spaced and do it. Good luck and hope I helped!

Double spaced means that you use every other line of paper, if its handwritten. For typed papers, in microsoft word, you can highlight everything and press ctrl+2 to double space it. Basically it means that at the end of every line of text, instead of a new line, there is a blank line. It makes it much easier to read

There is a setting in microsoft word that you can click which double spaces your essay.
Select the text that you want to change, or click Select All on the Edit menu.
On the Formatting toolbar (toolbar: A bar with buttons and options that you use to carry out commands. To display a toolbar, press ALT and then SHIFT+F10.), point to Line Spacing .
If the Formatting toolbar is not visible, on the View menu, point to Toolbars, and then click Formatting.
Click the arrow next to Line Spacing , and then click 2.0
There's also somethin you can click that automatically double spaces, but it's complicated to describe where it is.

Tell the pretentious bastard that writing is all about the free and valuable exchange of Ideas and that placing too much importance upon the mechanical aspects of that exchange only leads to the complete and total shut down of effective comunication . double spaced means between the lines of text
