McMaster University is known for it's medical biology and life sciences studies. It also has a teaching hospital on site for real world experience.

University of Western Ontario also has a similar situation to McMaster.

University of Waterloo has a fantastic genetics and biochem program.

U of T is worth considering too.

Good luck!

Because of its roots as an agricultural college the University of Guelph has outstanding strengths in this area. But my vote for #1 would still go to the University of Toronto. If you are contemplating medicine than McMaster for sure as well as Western Ontario.

Good luck.

There are three universities in Ontario which have good programs in life sciences....University of Toronto....University of Western Ontario (London) and Queens (Kingston). I happened to attend UofT....so I am prejudiced in it's favour. The website for it is www.utoronto.ca.
