My first time wit acupuncture was actually for bladder/urinary issues. It helped when western medicine could not. The difference with acupuncture as with any service is finding someone who knows what they are doing. Of course, find someone that is licensed, but in addition to that has several years of experience and has experience dealing with your ailment. I have seen 3 different acupuncturist since then and always looked for one that specialized in my ailment. Also, it should be mostly painless if you work with an experienced acupuncturist. I highly recommend trying it!

Yes, I used to have cluster migraines. I had acupuncture and no pain. Not even a mild headache for over a year! That was several years ago, and I have had some migraines, but not the blinding/nauseating kind. Acupuncture is a wonderful tool.
