Will Wifi waves bounce off tinfoil?

i was wondering if there was any way i could get a better signal in my room, i was wondering if tinfoil would deflect wifi waves and if not, what will?

Last I checked, radio waves were reflected from wire mesh, hence the wire mesh that surrounds the inside of Coax cables (tv cables)

I don't know if it will but you could try making a dish shape with foil. The wifi signals go through walls and I'm thinking it would probably go through thin foil.
