Turning your face or bust (what ever the customer or photoghrapher wants for a shot) or the product toward the camera. It depends if you are sellijng yourself ie headshot's or portfolio work or doing a job for payment. But it is making sure your eyes or the product connect with the camera.

Listen to Mandi, she's got it right, it's a matter of facing out to the 4th wall (as in the audience) while still maintaining a relationship with the person you are on stage with. You don't want back to the audience unless it's intentional or you're creating an effect or trying to focus on the other actors reactions...
