What is your first impression of someone who works at a strip club. I am a waitress at a strip club and I always get these faces when I tell people....guys and girls..... like they thought I said I was a stripper.

That's just human nature--when "strip" club is mentioned by someone as their job--immediate conclusions are reached without thought of what that person does for a job there.

I live in such a liberal city, it's so funny to come across these cultural differences. I actually am a stripper, and I haven't had any bad reactions when I've told people that. I even told someone's 50 year old mother who I met at a party, and she said "Good for you honey! Don't let anyone tell you they know what's best for you, You go on and live your life and laugh all the way to the bank." People in other places have all kinds of generalizations about strippers, but I haven't found much of it to be true.

I respect the woman who has chosen to work at a strip club! They make a good living in that entertainment business !! They do not deserve to be thought less of for choosing to work in the profession!! There are good people!!! Remember "What you think is more important than what they think". The people that think that about your job are a minority!!!!!!

Because like it or not working in a strip club has a lot of bad connotations about it, mainly the impression that it is degrading to women. Also many strippers are hookers and drug abusers.

Well, I think most people think "you are who you associate with". In your case being a waitress at a strip club. You accept something many people won't. I would seek employment elsewhere. It's better for the soul. The money might not be as great, but I think it would be better for you. Take care.

A club located on the strip.
Isn't that most of Las Vegas??
More people need to show
some pride in their job.
Regardless of what that is.
If it is honest work, what's
the problem. Your working
not robbing people.

we white boys dint dance, so a organic reaction to good song is nodding our heads. while uncovered to metallic or different heavy rhythmic song, it gets exaggerated and for this reason - the headbang - a thoroughly organic prevalence. First time i observed and did it it grow to be thoroughly organic.

a stripclub is a dirty place...

u'd like ur son to go to McDonald's, but would u like to see him go to this stripclub?

imagine a situation where ur working there, and then u see ur son come in and start dancing with a stripper, pouring money on her, and then u come and ask him: "what would u like to have sir?"...

dirty, isnt it?
