like a regular equation. except when you divide or multiply by a negative, then you flip the signs.

to graph you should have something like
x>7
If it is a greater or less than sign then it is an open circle
if ti is a greater or equal to or less than or equal too, then it is a closed circle.

Also graph it on a number line and the arrow from the dot point in the direction of the values of x
