The classic! I know someone who lost a friend over this! But anyway I had a friend like that way back I remember people used to talk about her everyday. But I didn't know how to tell her and now she's remembered as that girl with bad breath. I completely regret not telling her.
I think the best way would be to be honest. Just come out kindly and tell him/her about this. Tell them how uncomfortable you feel about saying it. But it's better that than to end up like old "my friend" there did. Say it in private and in person and be genuine. It takes a real friend to do that.

When you talk to this person make sure no one is around. Tell them their breath has a bad odor and you wanted to let him/her know so no one would talk about them. Suggest that they see a dentist about it, most of the time it's because he/she has a cavity.

well I would would have a pack of breath mint gum and I'll one first and then offer the person w/ nasty breath some. and if that person says "no thank you" I'll shove it there mouth. LOL

if you were a true friend you will tell that person that they have bad breath,before somebody else does and hurt their felling.don't say it in a mean way.

Keep a pack of gum or mints somewhere close. Then eat one, and offer them one too.

Keep some gum with you all the time, when they come around, offer some to them.

give them a toothbrush for christmas and a card that says you obviously need one- jk. in my case, we are so open with eachother i would't have to worry about it.
