In my opinion that is another sign that racism has not died in our culture. When it seems like a white woman's life is valued at more importance than a black woman's life.

I was watching TV and thinking the SAME thing....you know someone did break a arm, no one seem to be concerned with that...........

Last night they announced that the singer brandy killed someone in a car accident (12/30) they did mention it until last night......

Its not racism, but bias for celebrities.

If they show this clip one more time I'm going up the hill and break Nicole Kidmans arm myself.....

(responce to Lotus) NOTHING HAPPENED TO BRANDY.......SOMEONE ELSE IS DEAD...........................

i see your point but i really don't think it's racism. Brandy just isn't that popular anymore, and since Nicole Kidman has been in recent hits, then it's more likely that the bigger buzz will be on her.
think about this too.
would you like it being on "breaking news" that you just KILLED a person in an accident? personally, i'd prefer having the media yell out that i broke an arm, and not have them spread the news about the accidental death involved.

:]

Oh God here we go again with the racism. No, it was not racism. Brandy is just not popular anymore...and Nicole Kidman is. That's all. Stop looking for a reason to make whites sound racist.

I know what you mean about the media being racist and valuing a white person higher...But I think the gist I'm getting of the Brandy situation is that SHE was trying to keep this out of the media... she is said be VERY VERY upset at the death of the motorist involved.

ps Im not white either

Pop goes the weasel! America's media is responsible for it's bipartisan reporting! now if Brandy had been shoplifting or on drugs, she would've gotten a lot of attention! If the same were said for Nicole Kidman, she would've been in need of sympathy and rehab!
