In 1997, the 80s were retro. Now that it's 2007, are the 90s retro, or are they too much like now to be considered much different?

I don't know but I love<3 the 90's....god I miss those days (the music was much better too)

no, the 90s was not really a popular decade so i dont think it will ever be made into a big deal.
you may not realize this but the 90s was alot like the 80s still, just a more watered down version.
the mid 90s was leaning more towards early 70s styles though by hollywood but overall the 90s was really not an original decade.
alternative music and rap music were not originated in the 90s.

no the 90s are not retro,the reason is not enough has really changed since then as term of the way rock and rap music sounds and the styles are still basically the same.

no... in 1997 the 80's were nasty... just like the 90's are now... the 90's will be retro in 10 years... the 80's are only retro just now....
