I have a school dance for Valintines Day. The Dress is supposed to be Semi Formal, and I dont know what to wear. some girls are wearing dresses, and some are wearing nice shirts, and khakis. This is a Jr. high dance....please help!

If the dance is a semi-formal, then you'll want a knee length dress. I have no clue what the girls who are wearing khakis are thinking; that isn't even close to semi-formal attire. If you still aren't sure about what the style is, think about a cocktail dress or a party dress. It should be around the knee in length, nothing long like a full gown.
Try stores like Deb, Kohl's, Dillard's, etc... for affordable dresses. You shouldn't have to spend $100+ for a one time wear for Jr. High.

Definitely wear a dress - khakis are not meant for a semi-formal dance. Nothing ridiculous, just a cute knee length dress, and bring a sweater to put on in case it gets cold....Just go to your favorite store and find something pretty basic, but cute! I hope that helps!

Are you a girly girly? Then you should wear a dress.
If you like skirt then wear skirt
If you are a tom-boy then wear a nice pant.
Look at last year picture and see what other girls wore. It should give you an idea.
The key is that you want to be comfortable and be yourself.

i would get a nice party style dress, somthing pretty but not too over the top
