I have been searching for about 6 months at several jewelry stores and someone referred me to Costco. I was leary because I want quality and not a Walmart style ring. It truns out Costco carrys on high quality diamonds and they are half the price of everyone else! The only place I have find a ring cheaper than Costco is at The Mart located in Atlanta. The Mart is a wholesale place. If you do not have a business license to get you in then you can still get in on Fridays....

What my fiancee and I did instead of the promise ring was get an engagement band with a cubic zirconia in it instead of the diamond. That way it meant more to both of us and when the time came around to propose it was still the original band. When he proposed he gave me the real diamond on a small, cheaper band and we had it re-set. It worked out very well and was very special. but if you are only looking for a promise ring check out www.adiamondisforever.com
