No, it isn't. Atlanta is probably more corrupt.
New Orleans has the most murders though.

I admit Chicago has done some strange things...one of the things being the deal where Stroger Sr. had a stroke and they pulled strings to get his son in to take his place even though they had people on the board that were much more qualified. But New Orleans is definitely the most corrupt. Where else could a Congressman caught with $90,000 in his freezer get RE-Elected and someone of Nagin's ability get RE-Elected?

Cities are not corrupt, just the people who live in them.
I'm sure every American city has a few corrupt people in it but they also have people that inspire. The trick is differentitating between the two and finding ways to navigate past the former and learn from the latter.

Chicago is populated with gangsters and red tape in government is prevalent. Thus, Chicago is the most corrupt city in America acconding to some Americans. You can see it on the movies.

Chicago does have its issues. New Orleans is VERY hard to top for corruption.
Some of the places in Georgia are no slouches when it comes to corruption either.
Basically anywhere you go has problems, where I worked the new Chief of Police was getting pretty bad in his practices, made it easier for me to decide to retire.. Unfair corrupt practices in promotions, etc.

Well.... It does have a dubious history.. but whether it is the most corrupt in America I don't know. I think the greatest concentration of corruption surely must be in Washington.. The political district.

No; I'd say it's either Vegas or L.A. One more thing I notice though, is that most big cities are bastions of liberalism, and it is there that corruption flourishes the most. Coincidence? I think not.
