You can buy beer like in the streets bar. easy to get. unless expensive brand wine, liquer, brandy sure you need to get at hotel or supermarket.

you can get them in the street bars...but if you are looking for great wine, hotels have them and few shopping malls (ie. klcc, jaya jusco, mid valley) to name a few. But if you are looking for tapai go find Bo$$ ! hahaha...joking
