I almost said "625 stickers at a cent a piece", but I see that you said that the number of stickers was the same as the PRICE, as in the individual sticker price. So if S is the number of stickers and P is the price per sticker in cents, then

S*P = 625
S = P

So S^2 = 625, meaning S = 25. So you bought 25 stickers at a quarter a piece.

Therefore you bought 25 stickers for $6.25

They cost $6.25/25=$0.25 each (I know you didn't ask this, but is was just sitting there waiting for me to find it so I did.

Just guessing, each sticker cost 25 cents.25 x 25= 6.25, so you did in fact buy 25 stickers!

You bought 25 stickers, each for $0.25.

There are 25 cents in the price, so you bought 25 stickers for a tatal of $6.25. 6.25/25=0.25.

625 stickers because 100 cents is equivalent to a dollar so 100 cents x $6.25 = 625 stickers

25cent= 25 stickers
25 x 4= 100
100x6= 600
600+25= 625 stickers?
