I assume you're in high school. Not all kids are good in academics, but all kids are good at something. Think about what you like to do. Do you like working with your hands? Do you enjoy cooking? Are you interested in the medical field? Do you like working with computers? Pick something to concentrate on.

Then go to your guidance counselor, your parents, or a trusted teacher and find out what you have to do to begin taking classes that relate to your interests. Get your counselor to create a schedule for you that will help you become what you want to become-- whether it's a paramedic, a chef, a carpenter, a computer technician, a graphic artist.

It doesn't matter what it is as long as you point yourself in a direction that interests you. It is my experience that students who are interested in what they are doing do better in school.

If you drop out of school, you'll be lucky to get a minimum wage job, and believe me, that's not fun. If you stay and try to focus yourself toward a goal, you can have a career and money to buy that new car and get your own apartment even if you aren't great in math.

Good luck. You owe it to yourself to reach out for help at your school. You've already started that by asking this question. That's good.

Get a Tutor, go to another teacher, there are 30 teachers in a school, I have students coming to me who are not in my class!
I always find time for a child. You are our future!
If you think dropping out of school is the answer, Wait until you try to get a GED, it's even harder!! Step back and look at the whole picture, talk to someone at the school, there are people willing to help you,!

Do you have a freind that is good at math ??..perhaps tyou can study together...do not skip the class, you will only get further behind....Teachers do care if you show them you want to learn...put out some effort, it will come to you...but fo not quit, if you do you could easily be ruining your life.

DONT DROP OUT OF SCHOOL! School is basically the center of your life. If you are good in school, you go to a good college, and end up with a good job, and end up filthy rich! Being rich is fun. You should want to be rich.
