Perhaps there is a way you could tactfully tell him that you really miss his "old face" and that might encourage him to shave it off. On the other hand, do you let him dictate how you wear your hair? It is his face. I would think that he would value your opinion but, ultimately, it is his choice. (For your sake, I hope he shaves!)

So, when we get married, men lose all control over how they choose to groom themselves? I didn't get that memo.
I see this question a lot, and hear some of the ladies I know say that as well. It's his face, he can do what he wants. If you ask him to shave it, but he doesn't want to, I would drop it.
Sometimes you just need a change.
You get your hair done, try new things, etc. What if he didn't want you to cut your hair, but you really wanted to? Would you respect his wishes?
I'm sure you opinion counts for something, but being that it is his face, his opinion counts the most.
If this is all you have to complain about, be happy you have such a good marriage.

If he hasn't had facial hair long, it's just a phase. He needed to change his appearance. Let it go on for a little while and then talk to him about how you miss his clean shaven face. If it gets really bad, tell him he looks older (not mature) with the goatee. He'll shave it quick then.

Our 2 youngest sons nod off each night "rubbing" their daddy's goatee. i could no longer even think of their reaction if he have been to shave it off. He did as quickly as some years returned and our older babies, who have been approximately 3,4,5,& 7 on the time have been in finished marvel or maybe weary of him! So under no circumstances returned will he try this. i'm basically approximately 30 and that i bear in mind while i became approximately 4 and my dad shaved off his beard, I bear in mind crying for hours and asking him why, why ,why! So 26 years later I nonetheless bear in mind this...LOL! i'm particular your daughter wll get used to the assumption quickly.

There’s no harm in asking him. If he has any maturity at all, he won’t resent you merely for asking. Just tell him that you miss seeing his face. Of course, throwing in a few kisses when you ask might help ;)
Personally, I found goatee’s very sexy, but I’m not his wife :)

Somehow, surreptitiously suggest that you liked how he looked without facial hair. His face was smoother, something, whatever.

Get over yourself, or just get up and leave him. Either way, leave him alone. He can't tell you how to cut your frikin' hair, so don't start telling him how to dress and stuff. Unless, that is you want to be single again...

If he likes it and it suits his face, he should have it...
