Try calling an Apple support group. Or take your iPod to an Apple store and ask them what to do.

Restoring your iPod is when you connect your friends iPod into your computer got into iTunes and click on the iPod Tab on the left side. It will show you the capacity and it will say "restore" click that and it will restore it to its default settings. If that doesn't work go to the Apple iPod Forums at http://www.apple.com/ca/support/ipod you need a Apple ID which is free and ask away.

You need to restore it. What you need to do is:
- Go to your Itunes
-When you have your ipod connected to your computer go to where it says your ipod and there should be a button that says restore and once you click it, the password would be gone because it restarts your whole ipod!

Good Luck.

Shawna. =)
