my flat screen has bad streaks due to me using alcohol to clean i tried plain water but it is still there although better any suggestions.

What happened is you dissolved the antiglare coating on the screen, i believe the only way you can fix this is to keep cleaning it whith the alcohol until you have a bare screen now

I don't know of any way to restore it now. Get a new one and read the manufacturers cleaning instructions next time.
