i accidentally slammed my finger in the door, it is only the top where the nail is.?

what can i do to make the pain go away. If possible by the afternoon tommorow?

put ice on it.

take some pain killers.... :) they work wonders wen u need pain gone quick but if the pain persists maybe seek medical attention as u may of broke the top of the finger :)

APPLY HEAT THEN COLD, ALTERNATE FOR 30 MIN. THREE TIMES A DAY....ITS BEST TO SEE your Doctor, x-ray, splint, etc. protect it for a while, could be the nail bed is traumatized, should be red and tender for a week....SORRRRRRY.
