My view do it all the way or don't do it at all. I think our Government needs to Quit pussyfooting around -all of them.

For the next few months, we maintain current troop levels. If things are not changed we have to think long term.

Long term: Shrinking the force but staying longer.

These people are waiting for us to leave, and they know that we cannot sustain the number of troops we have on the ground, without public backlash.

If we reduce the number of troops, it will be easier to convince the American public to stick it out a bit longer. The enemy knows Americans are fed up. They're just biding their time until we're forced to leave.

We broke it, we need to fix it, no matter what or our children will most definitely pay the price.

I'm a liberal, and I think it was a mistake to go in in the first place, and there have been many mistakes after the initial invasion as well, but to leave would be disatrous.

I doubt that those are the only options. The Pentagon is not known for it's brevity when it comes to reports.

Get enough troops in there to do the job right...and then get out. Cut and run is what cowards do. Thank God we have a REAL MAN (Texan) in the White House.

the long way....I don't think the short way will work, after we reduce troop levels, they'll just come out of the woodwork again.....leaving is not an option...............I'm a Liberal who thinks Bush made an error in putting troops there and hanging Saddam

We need to get out but we won't.

We're going to play this unfortunate tragedy out to its sad conclusion.

Pull out now. The war was based on lies, and continues to run on lies! And my tax dollars.
