I think most people will agree that MOST of those places reside in parts of Africa and Arab countries. When it comes to scarriest places on earth, the United States falls behind. Safety is one of the thing that makes this country great. I know it's not all that safe, but it's a lot safer than others.
But I have a few that haven't been listed: Central African Republic, Darfur, and Israel.

Under any bed...any closet at night...inside my husbands shoes...my kids bedroom (you never know what the heck is lurking in there) ..public restrooms...the white house for as long as Bush is there...Places in the South where they still believe in lynching...the deepest part of the ocean...the mouth of a person with chronic halitosis...the local mortuary.
