You should try putting a little hydrogen peroxide on a coton ball and clean the area of scars. Not too much liquid, but do it on in ongoing basis. Three or four times a week if not daily. If it starts to irritate your skin, then you use it less or discontinue if you are not comfortable. This also helps prevent any future breakouts.

For recent acne scars, aloe vera juice works well. Buy the plant, cut off a piece, rinse it, and squeeze out the gel like substance from it. Apply it to cleaned face. Leave it overnight and wash it off in the morning. When you feel a pimple is coming on, put this stuff on, it will heal it completely and there will be absolutely no marks. Unfortunately, this only works on recent scars.
For very old scars the only thing that can help are tears. It is absolutely amazing how tears can renew skin. I know you can't make yourself cry out of the blue, but when you do cry , smooth those tears over the problem areas. Leave it on for at least overnight. The more you will do that, the smoother that area of your skin will seem to get.
As for microdermabrasions, don't try them. All it will do is remove upper layers of you skin, cause your face to produce tons of oil, and slow down the healing process altogether.
Most importantly, don't stress out over this problem too much.

Vitamin E capsuls. Swallow one, then pop another one, and put the juice over your scars. It may take a while, but it will take the scars away.
My husband was skateboarding when he was about 8, and he hit the skateboard, instead of the sidewalk, and pushed the board behind him. He was going pretty fast, so when he flew off, he took off like a rocket. And landed on the sidewalk, sraping his face something God awful! His ma did that with the Vitamin E, and she said that after it healed, there wasn't not a single scar. You couldn't even tell that he fell.
With things like acne, and such. You need to workfrom the inside out. By taking the vitamin E, you're healing the inside of your body, which is better then trying to heal the outside.
Good luck to you!

Hmmm home remedies its hard to say depending on the severity of the scar. ( there is only so much olive oil, or honey, and oatmeal can do.) It may be advisable to ask your doctor for a cream prescription that can help diminish the scars.

I must tell you about Microderm abrasions, I have seen miracles of the flesh with acne scars from every skin color from these.
Please talk to a spa person in your area. Its worth every penny.
You will need at least 5 to 8 sessions over a 4 month period or so. TRUST ME. save the money and do it. Its is permanent and your face is worth it.
