No, I never said this applied to me. Like junebugg said, I tend to fall for the idea of someone. For me meaning I fall for the person I think they are based on what I know of them, that's what gets me into trouble...

No matter where you meet someone the only time a person should 'fall' for them is after considerable quality time is spent together. Anything less than that is a recipe for disaster. Some make it work without this quality time but most don't.

I guess. I wouldn’t go looking for it but meeting someone on here is just like meeting someone at the mall, at a restaurant, grocery store etc. There has to be a FIRST time meeting everyone in every situation and a stranger is a stranger regardless :) Meeting someone anywhere else, could still mean they are an undercover pedophile, liar, loser etc.

It could happen, but I'd really want to talk to the person, have a good conversation, then maybe meet them in person way later. After that, it could be possible for me to fall for someone here. I have not yet though.

Well, I didn't meet someone here, but I did meet the guy I have been married to for 7 years in an Artist Cafe chatroom on AOL. We had been "hanging out" for a month in there (I lived in LA and he was in Kansas City) when we decided to meet with a bunch of others in our group at one of the artist's gallery showing in Denver (the halfway point). We confirmed live, in person what we knew we had, and 2 months later he came here to live with me and here we are. We married 1 year after our first live date in denver and have been very happy!!! It CAN happen, but just beware for every "real" person you meet, there is a bad person who knows a vulnerable person when they see one. Listen to your heart AND your common sense. Never ever ever meet live in person all alone. And let someone you trust in on the details just in case.

Well....
I would try not too. You really don't know the real person. Be real careful. Because you can get hurt and badly. Then you can't get it out of your mind. What is really funny is you don't know who may be in love with you. Maybe somebody you don't know. You could love someone and them not know. You could get hurt or hurt someone and not know it. It's best when online not to take things to heart. Just what I have learned over the years...
:D

No. You can't possibly truly meet someone here, we're all cartoony fake pictures and whatever we want to present ourselves as. Wow. You are taking this too seriously on all facets of the gem.
