well the easiest one is when u put a pencil in a cup of water. Waves travel differently in different materials and refraction occurs when it bends. The pencil looks like it does not match or is not even with the part sticking out. If not you can write different names of colors. Write them in a different color than what it reads. Make someone read what the word reads. Half the brain will read the word and the other half will say the color.

Paint a golfball yellow, and a baskettball white, place the golfball 1 foot away, place the basketball 14 feet away, look at them through a tube.
It is the illusion of size in perspective.

Paint a blue circle(not to big),a red circle a slight bit bigger enough so it leaves space between and go on and on and at one point stop and look at it a few feet away.It looks like you are going threw a weird thing.
