It depends on what I am trusting them with. There are different levels of trust, I would trust one of my employees to do something that I know they can do, but trusting someone with your heart, and believing that they will not hurt you, is something else. I would say I have a hard time with that. Or trusting that the car mechanic is not lying to you to make more money, or the sales person is not saying those pants look good on you because they will make a good commission.. LOL, I guess I would have to say I find it very hard to trust people.

Oh yeah,

I always give everybody the benefit of the doubt, no matter what.

*Trust is something else altogether different, though.

** I'm going through my second divorce, and her (legal) pleadings are total dog-poop (standard "Oprah"-esque lies ...).

**She just told me that she's leaving the latest guy she's shacked up with. She actually admitted to him that she just "used him" to have a place to stay, and so that she could get the kids (the kids stayed with me for the first 6 months ...).

**During an argument several years ago, she admitted to me that she married me just to get away from her parents, and to piss them off (Ouch! But I still loved her ...).

It's kinda' weird, because I really miss having someone to care for in that deeply secure, sensual, trusting way.

But I pray to God that I'll never-ever trust anyone in anyway near the same way and with the same depth, passion, and abandon that I did with her. After a 12 yr. marriage, the pain was so absolutely unbelievable, it eclipsed anything I ever went through up until this time.

I guess it's time to get up, dust off my clothes, adjust the bandages and get on with my life.

(;=]

I find it impossible to trust people who can't be trusted. There are people I trust. There are people I trust under some circumstances, and not in another.

It is nearly impossible to trust people I don't know (as it should be). Many people just aren't trustworthy, and it's better to be safe than sorry. But I know it's mainly that I'm trying to protect myself. I'm disabled and so am obviously an easy target. I have to compensate for what I lack, and if that means being distrusting to hide my naivete (which has gotten me into trouble before), then so be it!

Well I'm a person who analyze every detail, I may give you my trust but not my all,and once you blow the little trust that i have giving you i will never gain it back, for the simple fact that i don't like my feelings getting hurt

The number of people I trust can be counted on one hand.

yes i do. i have had my trust broken a few times, so it is very hard for me to truct anyone. i would say there is nobody i trust 100% and that is sad. i used to trust everybody until i began to be betrayed, then all hope was gone.
