When you hear about a man?
who had "everything going for him, no financial problems, smart, yada yada" who kills himself, what is your primary reaction? Pity or disgust?
If this same man was in extremely pathetic circumstances and kills himself, would your reaction be different or no?

Now replace "man" with "woman" in both cases. Would your reaction be different or no?

There are four questions. Please try answering all four:)

People are fickle. They don't know what they want. We were made to desire things. But once all of our desires have been met, we lose the desire to live. What else is there to search for? That is why no one should "have it all". Sometimes, the struggle makes life worth living. But I can't help but wonder what is really going on. It's not enough to just have material things. There has to be more to life. And, things are seldom how they seem to people on the outside.

when suicide was the ultimate 'escape' to a guy i knew, i thought his 'rationality' was disgusting,.. i didnt pity his ignorance,..nor him.. i felt anger at him, for not having the integrity to live with what seemed a solvable situation.
hell...im still mad at him, and its been 12 years..the jerk.
i hope i never meet another person so inclined...man or woman....sorry , cant help ya with the variations you mention, caus it seems to me the act is a decision made independently through logic or intelect or rationality any one else might find unacceptable.... THAT sead.....
i believe we have a 'rite' to life..or death, and i wouldnt want any one taking my 'rite' to either from me....there are lagit reasons, ....an older veteran i knew also did suicide,..in his case i admired his courage and his choice...i would have done it far sooner than did he... to each his own....

I would say he/she was stupid that he/she hid his/her sad & depressed life from everyone. I'd be both sad & disgusted at the same time.

does that answer all 4?
