I recently moved into a new apartment, and for the first week, my mirror never fogged up while I was in the shower. ( Very nice for shaving right away!) Once I cleaned the mirror with Windex, It started fogging up during every hot shower. That leads me to believe that there is some product out there that doesn't let my mirror fog up.

This will sound crazy but...wash the mirror then wipe on shaving cream on the mirror and wipe it off. It will work

Yes, there is a product at any store that sells cleaning products. It is clearly marked as to prevent fog on windows and mirrors. Spray 2/3 times weekly. OR, if you have a vent fan, run it while the shower or tub water is on.

The best way is to have your bathroom properly vented. If you are getting fogging on the mirror, you are also getting a good bit of moisture on the other surfaces in the room. This can eventually lead to mold and mildew problems. If you don't have a vent fan, I would get one. If you have one use it when you shower.

Well they do have defogger, I am sure it would work for a mirror, but that is why that fan is in your bathroom. Just turn it on, most of the time it will keep it from fogging up.

Believe it or not-furniture polish-the spray kind.
Clean the mirror first and spray a light coat of
polish. It will take a while to rub it clear but it
works superbly.

Remember-easy on the wax

I would try some Rain-X Anti Fog. You can buy it in the automotive dept.

I don't think so. But one question. Why do you give the mirror a shower?

snorklers use a little toothpaste on the inside of their
diving masks. there are probably commercial products
explicitly for that as well as for the inside of cars as above.
