I can climb a tree... never tried to climb a bear. :) I'm sure it would take me a while to climb the bear, unless he was seriously sedated.

No, their claws dig into the tree which helps them climb

No i don't think any one can . I live where the black bear is very prevelent . I have seen them running and believe me it is not a test u want to under take . You would lose !
