They have been reported to carry domestic livestock weighing 50 kg while easily jumping over fences 2 m high. Their forelimbs, massive and heavily muscled, are used to hold tightly onto the prey and to avoid being dislodged, especially by large prey such as gaurs. Gaurs and water buffalo weighing over a ton have been killed by tigers weighing about a sixth as much. A single tremendous blow of the paw can kill a full-grown wolf or human, or can heavily injure a 150 kg Sambar deer.
The answer is yes! They have a stronger paw swipe than a lion of equal size!

ADDED INFORMATION!
Siberian tigers and brown bears are a serious threat to each other and both tend to avoid each other. Statistically though, the Siberian tiger has been the more successful in battles between the two animals because bears taken by tigers are often smaller sized bears, however tigers can and do kill larger brown bears. Even female tigers, which are considerably smaller than male tigers, are capable of taking down and killing adult gaurs by themselves. Sambar, wild boar and gaur are the tiger's favoured prey in India. Young elephant and rhino calves are occasionally taken when they are left unprotected by their herds. A case where a tiger killed an adult female Indian rhino has been observed

Yes. If you live anywhere near a zoo, go there and look at one of the big bengal tigers.

AN ADULT MALE BENGAL TIGER CAN WEIGH UP TO 500 POUNDS!!!

I remember a girl got killed by a tiger last year as she was posing with it for her high school senior pic. It killed her so fast she never had a chance. These are big hunting machines designed to cull the sick and weak out of the large animal population in the wild. They are built to hunt and kill. They are smart and often do things like swipe or bite first at the throat. One good swipe across the throat from a tiger could definitely cause someone to bleed to death quickly, if not break their neck immediately.

Sure, why not? A human can kill another human with one paw swipe :) aka one punch. im sure a tiger has just as much if not more force in a swing and has claws to boot. so in the right way ( or wrong way) a person can be killed by a single blow to the head or neck. it doesnt take a large amount of force, sometimes it happens like i said, in just the right way. or if the claws were to cut the right artery/vein you would bleed to death in about 15 seconds. A local highschool kid was killed by another kid in a one punch fight. it happens.

I study an account that for the period of contact this. curiously there became right into a circus with a huge cat act. A tiger might are available in first and bounce up on a low stand of a few variety. Then a pair of lions might are available in, walk in front of the tiger and take their places on comparable stands. One lion had a habit of taking a splash swipe on the tiger's paws because it went by way of, scratching him. sometime the tiger estimated the lion's flow and took one swipe on the lion, ripping its neck open. The lion died interior of minutes.

Tiger enters a saloon, and orders a drink. He has a bandaged paw. The bartender notices the bandaged paw, and asks the tiger, "What are you doing in here?" The tiger says, "I'm looking for the man who shot my paw."

They can do it immediately if they catch the person the right way or they can do a long term, painful death like dislocating a shoulder and causing internal bleeding. That could take a week or so. Depends on luck as well as desire.

I'ts definetely not impossible, but it's not very probible either. depending on what the person was doing and how close he was to the tiger, and where it's claws hit, and how deep in they went, it's possible to kill him in one slice

absolutely.
i was within 2 feet of one...they are HUGE, weigh up to 600 pounds.
their heads are huge and if they cuffed you a good one, they could kill you from either the force of the blow or from severing an artery or from taking most of your head off
