If you are at least feeding and watering once a day, they will be fine all day while you are at school. They will nap, eat, play... they will go on with their little rabbit lives while you are away. If you plan to be gone for more than a day like on vacation, a rabbit will not survive more than a day or two with a large bowl of food and later water bottle. In this instance, you would want someone to check in with bunny. If his bottle leaks or the food gets spilt, he will be without and will need replacement.

It will be fine, but you need to give it something to do so it doesn't get bored. The pet stores sell all kinds of things for rabbits, they have toys, healthy treats and things to keep there teeth trimmed down that will keep him busy while your gone. I use the center of a paper towel role cut into pieces, mine likes to toss and chew on them. You also can find great ideas everywhere on line or buy rabbits for dummies, this book will give you an idea of how much care a rabbit needs. Hope this helps!!!

It'll be fine as long as you feed him well and keep him in good health. I have had 16 English Angora rabbits for wool, and they did their own thing and then when I would come home from work they would all want my attention. I would definately play with your little bunny a couple hours a day to keep it tame and friendly. It was pertinant that I did so because of how much handling I had to do to keep my rabbits wool clean, tangle free and in show shape!
